Is the 20 yard right for you?

Twice the bin. Same driveway.

The 20 yard is our tallest at 4'11", right around chest height on most people. It holds twice what the 10 yard holds and 33% more than the 15, and it does it without taking a single extra inch of your driveway. The footprint is identical across all three. The walls just go up.

Here's the part worth being straight about: it carries the same 3-ton weight allowance as every other bin we run. That makes the 20 the right answer for bulky debris, not heavy debris. Framing scrap, cabinets, furniture, and siding eat volume without much weight, and that's exactly what this bin is for.

  • Tallest walls we run: 4'11"
  • Same 16' x 7.5' footprint
  • Same 3-ton allowance
  • The most volume we carry
The rule of thumb: bulky and light, go 20. Heavy and dense, go smaller. Sizing up buys room, not weight, so a 20 loaded with shingles or tile will hit 3 tons well before it looks full. Not sure which side you're on? Call (870) 240-7366 and describe the job.

What's in the price, and what isn't

The 20 yard starts at $685, and your exact number depends on your delivery address. Here's everything that's already covered and the only two things that can add to it.

Already in your price

No line items, no add-ons, no surprise fees when we pick it up.

  • Delivery to your address Included
  • Pickup when you're done Included
  • Haul-away and disposal Included
  • Rental period 10 days
  • Weight allowance 3 tons
  • Placement where you want it Included

The only things that add cost

Both are avoidable, and both are your call. Nothing else gets tacked on.

  • Weight over 3 tons $75 / ton
  • Days past day 10 $15 / day
Watch the weight on this one. The 20 has the room to hold more than 3 tons long before it looks full, so it's the easiest bin to go over on if the load is dense. If you're throwing anything heavy in, call us before you top it off and we'll swap it out instead. A phone call is cheaper than an overage every time.

Where it goes and what we need

Here's the thing people don't expect about the 20 yard: it needs the exact same 16' by 7.5' spot as our smallest bin. About one parking space or a normal driveway width. Going bigger costs you nothing in ground space. You're only paying for taller walls.

What actually matters when the truck shows up:

  • A straight path to back into
  • Clear overhead: no limbs or lines
  • Flat, firm ground to set on
  • Room to slide it off and load it back
Want plywood under the wheels? Plenty of people lay a couple sheets down where the bin lands. You're welcome to set it out before we arrive. Just tell us where you want the bin when you book and that's where it goes.
Not quite right?

More bin than you need?

Same footprint on all three, so dropping down doesn't free up any driveway. It just lowers the walls and the price. Worth doing if the load is heavy, since every bin includes the same 3 tons either way.

Good to know

20 yard questions

The stuff people ask us most about this size. If yours isn't here, give us a call and we'll sort it out.

How big is a 20 yard dumpster?
16' long, 7.5' wide, and 4'11" tall, holding 20 cubic yards. The footprint is the same as our 10 and 15 yard bins, so the only real difference between the three is how tall the walls are. At just under five feet, this is the one where a wheelbarrow ramp or loading from the open end saves you some effort.
How much does a 20 yard dumpster cost?
It starts at $685, and your exact price depends on your delivery address, so we don't post a number that might not be yours. Head to our booking page, put in your address, and you'll see the real figure for all three sizes side by side. Delivery, pickup, and haul-away are all in it.
How much weight is included?
3 tons, which is 6,000 pounds. Anything over that is $75 per ton. This is the one thing worth understanding about the 20: it includes the same weight as our smallest bin. You're buying room, not capacity. That's why it works so well for bulky debris and why it's the easiest bin to go over on if you fill it with something dense.
Should I get a 20 or a 15?
Ask yourself if the debris is bulky or heavy. Bulky and light, like furniture, cabinets, siding, or framing scrap, means you'll run out of room before you run out of weight, so the 20 is the better buy. Heavy and dense, like shingles, plaster, or tile, means you'll hit the 3-ton allowance long before you fill either one, so the 15 saves you money and does the same job. Still torn? Call (870) 240-7366 and describe what you're throwing away.
Is the 20 yard good for a roof tear-off?
Usually not, and we'd rather tell you that up front. Shingles are heavy enough that you'll hit the 3-ton allowance well before you fill a 20, so the extra volume does nothing but cost you. For most homes the 15 yard is the right call, and on a bigger roof a swap-out beats a bigger bin. Call us with the square footage and we'll help you plan it.
How long do I get to keep it?
10 days are included with every rental. After that it's $15 per day, starting on day 11. Need more time? Just let us know before day 10 and we'll set it up. Finish early and want it gone sooner? Call and we'll come get it.
Can I put concrete, dirt, or brick in it?
No. Concrete, dirt, rocks, and bricks all have to stay out of every bin we run, including this one. They're heavy enough that a loaded bin can't be hauled safely. If your project involves tearing out hard surfaces, call us at (870) 240-7366 before you start and we'll talk through your options.
Will it fit in my driveway?
If a smaller bin fits, this one does too. It needs the same 16' by 7.5' spot as our 10 and 15 yard bins, about one parking space. Beyond that, the truck needs a straight shot to back in, clear overhead without low limbs or power lines, and flat, firm ground to set on. Describe your spot to us and we'll tell you straight.
Is it hard to load with the taller walls?
It's about five feet of wall, so heavy items take more lift than they would in the 10 or 15. Most people work around it by loading from the open end at the back or running a plank up as a ramp for a wheelbarrow. If you're hand-loading a lot of heavy material by yourself, the 10 yard's low sides might serve you better.
How full can I fill it?
Level with the top rail, no higher. There's an overfill line marked on the side of every bin. Anything stacked above it can't be hauled safely or legally, so we'd have to ask you to pull it back down before we could take it. Keep an eye on the weight too, since the 20 has the room to pass 3 tons before it looks close to full.
How soon can I get one?
Same-day or next-day is the norm. Call (870) 240-7366 early in the day and we'll do our best to get it to you when you need it. Booking ahead locks in the delivery window you want.
Do I need a permit?
Not if it's going on your driveway or anywhere else on your own property. It's only a question when a bin has to sit on a public street, and that depends on your city's rules. If that's your situation, check with your city, or call us and we'll help you sort it out before delivery day.
Do you deliver to my town?
We cover Paragould, Jonesboro, and the surrounding counties across Northeast Arkansas and into the Missouri boot heel. Check the full service area or just call and we'll let you know right away.
